Carlos Campos
Designer Carlos Campos grew up in a tailoring and design household inspired by his father. Raised in Honduras, Campos quickly learned the skills of his father’s trade. At the age of thirteen, Carlos Campos set out to see the world. That journey ultimately drew him to New York City.
Campos studied fashion design at the Fashion Institute of Technology. He has helped create costumes for many acclaimed plays including “The Invention of Love”, “The Graduate”, “The Light in the Piazza”, “Fiddler on the Roof”, and “Jersey Boys”. After launching his self-titled label, Campos soon co-founded a second label, Guido New York.
Campos’ designs have been worn by the likes of Justin Timberlake, Ricky Martin, The Scissor Sisters and The Killers. He has appeared on Style, VH1, ET, A&E, American Latino TV and Forbes. Photo editorials and features include national and international magazines such as Antenna, Surface, Blackbook, DNR, Details, Esquire, Numero Homme, Flaunt, Arena, Gotham, Ocean Drive, Out, Hampton’s, People, Time-Out New York and Entertainment Weekly. Industry awards include the Fashion Group International’s 2009 Rising Star Award for Best Menswear Designer as well as nominations for the Ecco-Domani Fashion Foundation Award for Excellence in Menswear Design, and consideration for the coveted CFDA Award.
Currently, Campos designs his own line of clothing. The Carlos Campos label is a relaxed and modern mens and womens wear collection featuring well-tailored pieces constructed from exceptional fabrics. Carlos Campos’ designs are sold in finer boutiques worldwide. Campos also has a made-to-measure studio in New York City.

FASHION GROUP INTERNATIONAL'S MEN'S WEAR RISING STAR OF 2009
Carlos Campos was named Fashion Group International’s Rising Star for Men's Wear at the 12th Annual Fashion Group International Rising Star Award ceremony held at the Rainbow Room located in 30 Rockefeller Plaza. The men's wear award this year was presented to Carlos Campos by Alex Badia. The award celebrates innovation, creativity, and accomplishment in fashion, and design fields. Carlos launched his self-titled line in the Fall of 2007, designing modern men's wear constructed from exceptional fabrics. The brand has grown to now include tailored women's pieces.
